Railey Realty runs its Mid-Lake Office at 19567 Garrett Hwy in the Thayerville area of Deep Creek Lake, beside the McDonald's at the Glendale Road light. It is one of the two offices of the family-founded brokerage, a convenient stop if you are buying or selling property around the middle of the lake.

A Second Office at Mid-Lake

Railey Realty's main sales office is at 2 Vacation Way in McHenry. The Mid-Lake Office came about in 2013, when long-time local Associate Broker Lisa Goodfellow and her team joined Railey and the former Goodfellow Real Estate Services building in Thayerville became a Railey branch. Today the company describes itself as having more than 40 agents working from its two offices, so you can meet an agent here rather than driving up Route 219 to McHenry.

The Railey family ran Railey Cottages, the area's first commercial cottage rental company, before Sis and Jim Railey founded Railey Realty in 1974. The firm opened its first office on Route 219 in 1984 and moved its headquarters to Vacation Way in 1997. Vacation rentals are handled separately by its affiliate, Railey Vacations, at 5 Vacation Way in McHenry.
