About
Reflections is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath log chalet at 208 Naylor Road, Oakland, MD 21550 that sleeps 9, managed by Railey Vacations in the Boy Scout/Penn Point area on the southeast side of Deep Creek Lake. It's lakefront with a private dock, which makes it a good fit for families who want to spend their days on the water and their evenings by the fire.
Inside the House
The main level is built around a great room with cathedral ceilings, a wall of windows and a stone fireplace, opening to a kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining area. Bedrooms are spread over three levels, so the group gets some breathing room:
- Main level: a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a full bath with shower/tub
- Upper level: a king suite with its own full bath, plus a loft with a twin sleeper sofa
- Lower level: a king suite with full bath, laundry, and a den with a second stone fireplace, a flat-screen TV and a wet bar
There are no bunk beds, and the home has central air, both a gas and a wood fireplace, Wi-Fi and streaming-capable TVs.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
A large deck looks out over the lake through the trees, and a lower-level patio leads to an outdoor hot tub, a wood fire pit and a gas grill. A grassy, gently sloping wooded lawn runs down to the water. The home borders the state buffer strip with no road between it and the lake, and the private dock has room for two motorized boats and one non-motorized vessel. Docks are guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and kayaks and other water gear aren't provided, so bring your own.
