RS Painting

RS Painting LLC is a painting company based in Swanton, Maryland, serving homeowners and businesses in Swanton and across Garrett County. Owner Randy S. started the company in 2001, and the work covers interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, and log home care, which makes it a useful call for lake cabins, houses, barns and commercial spaces around Deep Creek Lake.

Painting Services

RS Painting handles both residential and commercial painting. At home, that means walls, ceilings, doors, trim, siding, garages and barns; on the commercial side, offices, shops, rental properties and other workspaces. Before painting starts, the surface is checked and prepared, which may include scraping, sanding, patching, priming or pressure washing. Depending on the job, the work can include:

• Color sampling and basic color guidance
• Interior painting for walls, ceilings, doors and trim
• Exterior painting for siding, garages and barns
• Staining for decks and exposed wood
• Final touch-ups and cleanup

Pressure Washing and Deck Care

The company pressure washes decks and railings, house siding, fences and gates, walkways and patios, garages and outbuildings, and gutters and exterior trim, adjusting the method to the material. Cleaning a deck is also the first step before staining, so the boards can be checked for sanding or repairs once they dry. Gutter cleaning is offered as well.

Log Home Care

For log homes, RS Painting offers log washing, mold and mildew removal, bleaching for dark or uneven areas, caulking of small cracks and open joints, and staining chosen to match the existing finish and the condition of the wood. The company also takes on paint and wallpaper removal, light drywall repair, and light carpentry for small fixes to trim, siding and deck boards. It describes itself as licensed and insured and offers free estimates.

If your cabin, deck or log siding is looking weathered, a call to RS Painting is an easy way to get an estimate on the work.
