About
Ski & Glee is a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath ski-in/ski-out vacation home beside the Main Street slope on top of Wisp mountain in McHenry, rented directly by its owners under the My Deep Creek Rentals name. All five bedrooms are king master suites, with two queen sleeper sofas for extra guests, so it works well for families who want ski access in winter and plenty to do indoors year-round.
Inside the House
The centerpiece is an indoor heated swimming pool, which you can see from the main-level rooms through large glass windows. The kitchen has granite countertops, double ovens and a microwave, and beds are made up with sateen sheets and microfiber towels. The game room is set up for all ages:
- a pool table
- 10 arcade video games and two pinball machines
- two Xbox 360 consoles, one with Kinect
- large HDTVs in the living room and game room, plus a library of movies
Outdoor Spaces and Setting
Outside, a brick paver patio with seating and a gas grill sits beside an outdoor hot tub and an outdoor sauna, both looking out over Deep Creek Lake. The owners note the home is within walking distance of the ASCI whitewater course at the top of Wisp, and Wisp's summer activities include ziplines, mountain biking and a mountain coaster. They also list two 18-hole golf courses less than two miles away.
