About
Somewhere Only We Know is a newly built 7-bedroom lakefront home in the Stilwater community at Deep Creek Lake near Swanton that sleeps 16, managed by Red Barn Vacations. With six full and two half baths, it's built for large families and groups who want lake days and mountain activities from one house.
Inside the House
The living spaces are open and modern, centered on a gas fireplace, with an easy flow between indoors and out. Practical touches make longer stays simpler:
- Air conditioning and heating, internet and a dedicated remote-work space
- Washer, dryer, linens and towels, with white duvet covers on every bed
- A Keurig and a drip coffee maker (bring your own pods and coffee)
- A TV and a foosball table
- Self check-in with a smart lock
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
You can take in the lake from the private hot tub or around the gas fire pit, and there's a grill for cookouts. The home is lakefront with access to a community dock. Boat trailers aren't kept at the house; they go in the overflow lot at the Red Barn Inn.
Good to Know
- Vehicles are limited to the number of bedrooms (up to seven)
- Guests get free access to a local gym
- Extras such as bathrobes, beach towels, firewood, a mobile sauna and grocery delivery can be arranged for a fee
- Red Barn notes that winter roads and driveways here can be steep and icy, and recommends 4WD or AWD
