Sticks & Stones Landscape Construction is a landscape design-build contractor and a public landscape supply center at 2986 Oakland Sang Run Road in Oakland. Led by company president Jeff Kurilla, the company has more than 20 years of experience building retaining walls, patios and outdoor living spaces for lake houses and homes around Garrett County.

Landscape Construction

The construction side moves earth, builds walls and lays stone. Published services include:

• Landscape design/build, project layouts and consulting
• Excavating, site work and septic installation
• Versa-Lok, Rosetta stone, timber, dry-stack and rip-rap retaining walls, plus shoreline erosion walls and seawalls (the company advises starting seawall projects early, as they can take up to six months)
• Paver patios, steps, walkways, driveways and permeable pavers for drainage
• Outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, fire pits and BBQ areas
• Drainage repair, decks, fences and new lawn installation

Jeff Kurilla leads every installation through each construction phase.

Landscape Center and Snow Plowing

The Landscape Center sells bulk and bagged mulch, stone and gravel, river rock, mushroom soil, top soil and screened top soil, boulders, natural stack stone, brick pavers, Versa-Lok blocks and construction sand. It is an Oberfields, Lampus and Alliance dealer (polymeric sand, Gator Dust, cleaners and sealers), and delivery is available. Do-it-yourselfers can buy materials, have the site excavated, or hand the whole project over. In winter the company plows commercial parking lots and residential driveways, shovels sidewalks and salts concrete and asphalt.
