Stuck Energy – McHenry

Stuck Energy – McHenry is the McHenry office of Stuck Energy, the family company that ran Oakland Oil & Propane until the name changed on September 29. The office is at 25227 Garrett Hwy, McHenry, MD 21541, close to Deep Creek Lake, and serves homes, lake houses and businesses that heat and cook with propane or heating oil.

Oakland Oil & Propane Under a New Name

The Stuck family bought Oakland Oil in 1989 and added a propane plant in 2012, when the business became Oakland Oil & Propane. Three generations of the family have run it, and the company now operates as Stuck Energy, a family fuel business that dates to 1955 and also serves Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. The company says the local office, phone number, drivers and trucks stay the same, and existing accounts, budget plans and delivery schedules carry over with no new paperwork.

Fuel and Services From the Garrett County Team

Stuck Energy's Garrett County offices handle the services Oakland Oil & Propane customers already know:

• Propane delivery, with automatic or will-call options
• Propane tank installation
• Heating oil delivery, automatic or will-call
• Kerosene
• Commercial fuel such as on-road and off-road diesel, gasoline, DEF and lubricants

The company also offers a 24-hour emergency line for urgent propane needs, which matters in a mountain county where a winter outage can't wait for office hours.

Before You Call

The McHenry and Oakland offices share one phone number, so you reach the same local team either way. The company's main Garrett County office is on West Liberty Street in Oakland.

If you are setting up fuel for a lake house or switching suppliers, call the local office and they will walk you through starting service.
