About
Sunset Dream is a 5-bedroom home with 3 full and 2 half baths at 2834 Stockslager Road, Oakland, that sleeps 14 and is managed by Railey Vacations. Railey describes it as a roughly 4,500-square-foot house on more than an acre of level lakefront on a quiet cove in the Stockslager community on the north end of Deep Creek Lake, a setup that suits family groups who want their own dock and plenty of space indoors.
Inside the House
- Main level: kitchen, dining and living areas with a wood-burning fireplace, plus a suite with a California king and a jetted tub, and a den with a full futon
- Upper level: three bedrooms, including one with two twins, one with a queen, and a larger room with two queens and an extra single
- Lower level: a game room with a pool table, foosball, a poker table and a pub table, and a queen sleeper sofa
The laundry room has a second kitchen area and a powder room, and the home has two full-size refrigerators, two drip coffee makers, five flat-screen TVs and mesh Wi-Fi, which helps when a large group is cooking and streaming at once.
Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
The home is lakefront with a private dock on the property for one motorized boat; Railey notes docks are guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Outside there's an outdoor hot tub and a gas grill (not available in winter), with parking for four vehicles and room for a boat trailer. The Stockslager community lists tennis, pickleball and bocce, and Railey puts Lodestone Golf Course about 1.35 miles away and Swallow Falls State Park about 2.9 miles away.
Good to Know
Pets aren't permitted, the home is rented to family groups only, and Railey recommends 4WD, AWD or snow tires from November through March.
