Taylor-Made Deep Creek Real Estate

Taylor-Made Deep Creek Real Estate is a real estate brokerage at 35 Towne Centre Way in McHenry, helping people buy and sell homes, lakefront property and land around Deep Creek Lake and across Garrett County. Whether you are hunting for a lake house, a place near Wisp Resort or a year-round home in Oakland or Swanton, this is the office where the team's agents are based.

From Vacation Rentals to Sales

Taylor-Made started in 2008 as a Deep Creek Lake vacation rental company founded by Jodi Taylor Refosco, Joe Refosco and Chad Taylor. The sales side opened on April 15, 2014, with local agent Jay Ferguson as a partner and co-owner from the start; agent Betsy Spiker Holcomb later became a co-owner too. In 2016 the company took over the local Long & Foster Deep Creek branch, and many of its agents joined. Terah Crawford, a Garrett County native, now serves as Broker/Sales Manager.

What the Team Helps With

The firm's roster lists around 30 agents and associate brokers, and the company has expanded into neighboring Pennsylvania counties and West Virginia, including Morgantown, Canaan Valley and Snowshoe. Through the office you can get help with:

• Buying and selling homes, lakefront and lake-access property, and land
• Property searches with email alerts and a free home valuation
• Financing information, market updates and area guides for McHenry, Oakland, Grantsville, Accident, Friendsville and Mountain Lake Park

If you are looking for a vacation stay rather than a purchase, the sister rental business is at deepcreekvacations.com.

Giving Back Locally

Taylor-Made sponsors youth sports, school programs, nonprofits and festivals around the county, and runs the Bob Carney Memorial Scholarship, named for the broker/sales manager who joined in the 2016 merger.

Stop by the office on Towne Centre Way or call ahead to be matched with an agent who knows the part of the lake you are interested in.
