The Lodge at Wisp is the year-round hotel at the base of Wisp Resort, at 296 Marsh Hill Rd in McHenry above Deep Creek Lake. With 169 rooms and suites steps from the slopes, it works for ski weekends, summer family trips and group events alike.
Rooms and Suites
The hotel has six room types: King Luxury Suite, King Suite, Queen Suite, Double Suite, Lodge Queen Efficiency and Lodge Queen Deluxe. Rooms in the Tower section look out on the ski slopes, Sundown Village or the resort, while Lodge-section rooms face the slopes or the courtyard. Most room types sleep four, and rooms come with a mini-fridge, coffee maker and iron; the King Luxury Suite adds a California king bed, an in-room safe and a queen sleeper. The Lodge at Wisp is a condominium-owned hotel, and the whole property is smoke-free.

In winter you're right at the lifts, snow tubing and lessons. Wisp itself dates to the winter of 1955–1956, when Helmuth "Ace" Heise started skiing on Marsh Mountain.
Pets, Groups and Planning
A limited number of designated pet-friendly rooms are available; pets must be registered at the front desk and kept out of the pool, fitness center and restaurants. Wisp hosts meetings, banquets and weddings for groups of 10 to 1,000, with catering and an event coordinator.
