Traditions on the Lake is a 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath lakefront home at 20654 Garrett Hwy in Oakland that sleeps 14, managed by Railey Vacations. It sits along Route 219 in central Deep Creek Lake, with a private dock and three levels of outdoor space, which suits family groups who want to spend their days on the water and their evenings by the fire.
Inside the House
The main level holds the living area, dining room, kitchen, a powder room and laundry, with a gas fireplace in the living space. Upstairs, the king suite has its own private balcony and attached bath, alongside two queen bedrooms and a shared full bath. The lower level adds a den with a shuffleboard table, a queen bedroom, a bunk room with two sets of twin-over-full bunks and another full bath.

Outdoor Spaces and Lake Access
Outside you get an upper balcony, a wraparound deck on the main level and a covered patio below, plus an outdoor hot tub, a gas grill, a wood-burning fire pit and an outdoor dining table. The lake views are filtered through the trees. The private dock takes two motorized boats and is guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and boat trailer parking is allowed (one trailer uses one of the five parking spaces). Kayaks and other water gear aren't provided, so bring your own or rent nearby.
Good to Know
Pets aren't permitted, the home is rented to family groups only, and Railey recommends 4WD/AWD or snow tires from November through March. Firewood isn't supplied.
