About
Tree Haus is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin at 60 Village Dr #8 in the Yellowstone Village community in Oakland that sleeps 6, managed by Railey Vacations. With a king bed in each bedroom and a futon in the loft, it works well for two couples or a small family who want a quiet, wooded base in central Deep Creek close to restaurants and shopping.
Inside the Cabin
The main level has the kitchen with a dining area, the living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a king bedroom, a full bath with a shower and laundry. Upstairs, a loft with a futon sits alongside the second king bedroom and another full bath. The cabin has central air, three flat-screen TVs with Blu-ray players, Wi-Fi and a landline, and there's a game table, chess and checkers and a shuffleboard table for evenings in. From mid-September to mid-April, Railey supplies complimentary firewood for the fireplace.
Outdoor Spaces
Out front there's a porch with birdhouses and natural landscaping in a wooded setting. You also get an outdoor hot tub, a gas grill and parking for two vehicles.
Lake Access and Good to Know
Tree Haus has no dock and no designated lake access, and boat trailer parking isn't permitted. Railey suggests reserving a boat at a local marina or using the beach at Deep Creek Lake State Park, which its listing puts about 1.75 miles away. Pets aren't permitted, the home is rented to family groups only, and 4WD/AWD or snow tires are recommended from November through March.
