Wayne's Water 'N Wells

Wayne's Water 'N Wells is a well-drilling and water-systems company based at 19139 Garrett Highway in Oakland, serving homes and businesses across Garrett County and into Pennsylvania and West Virginia. If your house or cabin runs on well water, this is the kind of outfit that can drill the well, set up the pump and treat what comes out of the tap.

More Than Four Decades of Drilling

Wayne's started in 1981, and its office on Garrett Highway (US 219) has been a fixture for local builders and homeowners ever since. The Garrett County Chamber listing describes it as the largest local well-drilling company in the county. The company has separate drilling and pump crews, and says its drillers are certified and go through ongoing training. It belongs to the National Ground Water Association, the Maryland Delaware Water Well Association and the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.

Services Offered

• Well drilling: new residential and commercial water wells
• Water systems: pumps, pressure tanks and the plumbing between the well and the house
• Water filtration and conditioning: treatment for hardness, iron, odor and other well-water problems
• Geothermal: drilling ground loops for geothermal heating and cooling
• Environmental drilling: licensed in Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio
• Industrial work: handled through its affiliated Infinity Drilling

Before You Go

If you are building on a new lot, call early to get a well on the schedule. If you already have a well, the filtration side of the business can test and treat water that tastes off or stains fixtures. Service questions go through the office, and the website has a contact form for anything less urgent.

Whether you are drilling a first well on a new lot or fixing the water at a lake house, give Wayne's a call.
