Wellspring Family Medicine is a family medicine practice with its main office at 311 N. Fourth Street, Suite 1, Oakland. It cares for patients of all ages, from pregnancy and newborns through adult and later-life care, and is part of Privia Medical Group – Mid-Atlantic.

A Practice With Local Roots

Wellspring opened in Oakland on October 18, 2004, when family physician Kenneth Buczynski, MD, and his wife moved to town to start a Christ-centered family medicine practice. The practice's stated mission is to enable healthy, abundant living for all of its patients, regardless of their physical characteristics or personal beliefs. Dr. Buczynski is board certified in family medicine and lists Garrett Regional Medical Center as his hospital affiliation.

Today the team includes physicians Kenneth Buczynski, MD, and Marlana Bollinger, MD, along with physician assistants and nurse practitioners, including a psychiatric-mental-health nurse practitioner. Besides this Oakland office, Wellspring sees patients at a second Oakland office on East Oak Street and in Accident.

The practice groups its care into obstetrics, pediatrics, adult medicine, and weight and wellness. Its published services include:

• Comprehensive annual physicals, plus school, camp and life insurance physicals

• Same-day appointments for urgent and acute care
• Flu shots, vaccines and travel medicine
• Men's and women's health, some in-house lab services, and specialist care coordination
