WVU Headwaters Family Medicine

WVU Headwaters Family Medicine is a primary care practice at 14689 Garrett Highway, Suite 3 in Oakland, run by family nurse practitioners Taylor Crabtree and Jessica Myers. Known until mid-2026 as Headwaters Restoration Therapy, the practice joined WVU Medicine Garrett Regional Medical Center's network of primary care practices on July 1, 2026, and cares for individuals and families of all ages.

The practice describes its focus as primary care built around:

• Coordinated care for patients of all ages

Because it is now part of the Garrett Regional Medical Center network, patients also gain access to MyWVUChart, WVU Medicine's online portal, where you can see your health information and reach your care team.

A Local Practice, Now Part of WVU Medicine

Crabtree and Myers opened Headwaters Restoration Therapy in 2024, marking the opening with a Garrett County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting in April of that year. Jessica Myers, MSN, NP-C, has been a family nurse practitioner since 2017 and earlier worked as a registered nurse and in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Taylor Crabtree, FNP, has practised as a primary care nurse practitioner since 2019 after working in critical care and emergency settings at WVU Hospitals, Mon General Hospital and Garrett County Memorial Hospital.

The move to WVU Medicine did not change the address or phone number, and existing patients keep their current providers and staff. If you were a Headwaters Restoration Therapy patient, you can keep booking just as before.
